Zain Innovation Campus ZINC Tamatem and Replit Conclude AI-Powered Gaming Hackathon
Amman, 19 May 2026: Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), Tamatem, and Replit concluded the activities of the “Prompt and Play” Hackathon, which brought together over three days a distinguished group of developers, creatives, and digital game creators in an interactive experience aimed at developing innovative AI-powered games and transforming creative ideas into playable and executable game prototypes.
The hackathon witnessed strong interest from gaming and technology enthusiasts, with 365 teams from diverse technical and creative backgrounds registering to participate. Out of these, 32 teams advanced to the final stage after the submitted ideas and projects were evaluated based on innovation, creativity, feasibility, and the effective integration of artificial intelligence tools in game development.
The hackathon featured a series of specialized training sessions and workshops, providing participants with practical knowledge on game development using AI tools, UX/UI design, game monetization strategies, and presentation and pitching skills before judging panels. These sessions contributed to strengthening participants’ skills and supporting them in transforming their ideas into integrated projects.
At the conclusion of the hackathon, the winning teams and ideas were announced, receiving grants and cash support provided by Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC). Team “Dr. Prompt” secured first place and received support worth JOD 1,500 for developing a game that simulates an interactive Arabic-language clinical training environment, allowing users to experience diagnosing and treating patients using AI technologies and direct voice interaction in various Arabic dialects.
Team “Meow Battle” came in second place and received JOD 1,000 for creating an interactive combat game based on voice control, where players use their voices to charge energy and battle opponents through creative stages and humorous characters.
Meanwhile, Team “Time Rift” won third place and received JOD 500 after developing a puzzle game centered around time manipulation and traveling between the past, present, and future to solve challenges and complete missions within an innovative interactive storyline, following strong competition among participating teams and finalist projects.
Replit also provided selected teams with free credits, enabling them to access and utilize some of the most advanced AI models offered by the platform to further develop and continue working on their projects.

The initiative also aims to empower participants to build future projects and ideas that contribute to developing more advanced digital experiences, while helping establish a community that unites people with shared interests in technical and creative fields.
