Amman, 17 June 2026: Reinforcing its ongoing commitment to community development and the protection of children and families, Zain Jordan continues its strategic partnership with Jordan River Foundation (JRF) by supporting free 110 Family and Child Helpline, a specialized national service dedicated to safeguarding children and family members from violence, abuse, and neglect.
This partnership reflects Zain Jordan’s belief in the importance of fostering a safe environment for children and families while raising public awareness of their rights and available protection mechanisms. Zain highlights the vital role of the helpline as a trusted and secure channel that provides confidential, professional, and free support around the clock, ensuring access to protection and assistance for children and families who experience or suspect any form of abuse, violence, or neglect.
110 Family and Child Helpline offer a comprehensive range of services, including listening and counseling support, psychological, social, and legal guidance, as well as the handling of reports related to violence, abuse, and neglect affecting children and family members. Through close coordination with relevant authorities, the helpline helps ensure timely intervention and protection, contributing to the strengthening of Jordan’s social protection system and promoting a culture of reporting and help-seeking.
During 2025, the helpline provided services through nearly 16,000 calls, supported by a qualified team of psychological and social specialists with diverse expertise and extensive experience in addressing a wide range of cases according to the highest professional standards.
As part of its clearer efforts to enhance online safety, Zain Jordan also provides a Safe Internet Browsing service in collaboration with Infoblox for all postpaid and prepaid subscribers, including individual and business customers. Offered free of charge, the service helps protect internet users, particularly children, from malware, data breaches, and online fraud, while enabling them to identify unsafe websites and limit access to inappropriate content.
In line with its commitment to strengthening digital security and protecting community members from cyber threats, Zain Jordan has also launched a digital awareness campaign in cooperation with the National Cyber Security Center. The initiative aims to increase awareness of safe internet practices, educate users about growing cyber risks, and promote preventive measures. The campaign empowers individuals, including children parents, and elderlies to better protect their personal data and navigate the digital environment safely through practical guidance on information security, digital privacy, and protection against online scams and cybercrime.
