Crown Prince Honors Umniah by Beyon for Its Longstanding Support of the Crown Prince Foundation

Recognition highlights Umniah’s continued commitment to youth empowerment, national development, and shaping Jordan’s digital future

Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II honored Umniah by Beyon in recognition of its longstanding role as a major supporter of the Crown Prince Foundation and its initiatives over the years, contributing to youth empowerment, national development, and the Kingdom’s digital future. Umniah CEO John Delves received the honorary shield during a ceremony held on Monday, October 12, 2026, to mark the Crown Prince Foundation’s 10th anniversary.

The recognition reflects Umniah’s consistent commitment to supporting the Crown Prince Foundation and its approach to connecting investment in technology with Jordan’s development priorities. Through its digital infrastructure projects and educational and community initiatives, the company works to create opportunities for young people, support businesses, and expand access to the tools and skills needed in an increasingly digital economy.

Umniah’s long-term collaboration with the Crown Prince Foundation is central to these efforts, reflecting a shared commitment to empowering young Jordanians and creating opportunities for their development. Its support for the Tawasol Forum encourages dialogue and gives young people a platform to contribute to discussions on Jordan’s future. This commitment to youth development also extends to education and employability, as the company works with Al Hussein Technical University to strengthen the connection between education and the technology sector, while its Shababi program engages university students and supports their readiness for the job market.

Beyond education and youth empowerment, Umniah’s commitment to creating lasting impact extends to communities across the Kingdom. Through its Forsa initiative, Umniah rehabilitates playgrounds at public schools, creating better spaces for students to play and participate in sports. Its Umniah Al Khair Ramadan campaigns and longstanding collaboration with Tkiyet Um Ali support families in need. Meanwhile, UVolunteer, the company’s employee volunteering program, works with the Nahno platform to enable employees to contribute their time and skills to initiatives that address community needs. Together, these efforts reflect Umniah’s approach to building sustained partnerships that respond to community needs and deliver meaningful impact.

Alongside these programs, Umniah continues to expand its 5G network, enhance connectivity services, and invest in data centers. Drawing on its experience in Jordan and Beyon Group’s regional capabilities, the company is strengthening the infrastructure businesses need to adopt cloud services, manage growing volumes of data, and use emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.

Umniah’s school connectivity and cybersecurity project brings this investment directly into the classroom, providing secure internet access and a technological environment that supports the use of digital learning tools and resources.

Commenting on the recognition, John Delves said: “We are proud to receive this recognition from His Royal Highness the Crown Prince on an occasion that celebrates a decade of the Crown Prince Foundation’s work. It means a great deal to everyone at Umniah and strengthens our resolve to contribute to Jordan’s progress. For us, the value of technology lies in what it enables: helping a business grow, giving students access to learning resources, and equipping young people with skills that open new opportunities.”

He added: “Our work with the Crown Prince Foundation, universities, and community organizations helps us respond to real needs and reach more people. As we continue investing in Jordan’s digital infrastructure, we will build on these relationships to support national talent and help more young Jordanians participate in the digital economy.”

Dina Al-Daoud, Executive Director of Brand and Corporate Communications at Umniah, said: “Our approach to corporate social responsibility is rooted in building long-term partnerships that create meaningful and sustainable impact. Through our longstanding relationship with the Crown Prince Foundation and our collaboration with educational and community organizations, we focus on initiatives that respond to real needs, empower young people, and connect education with opportunity. We believe that lasting community impact comes from consistency, collaboration, and a shared commitment to creating a better future for Jordan.”
