Amman, September 15, 2026: His Highness Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein honored Zain Jordan in recognition of its active role as a founding partner and supporter of the Waqf Thareed, as well as its ongoing contributions to the Waqf’s work since its establishment in 2024.
The recognition highlights Zain Jordan’s role as a founding partner of Thareed Waqf and its position among the first organizations to support the Waqf and advance its noble mission since its launch. Through its support, Zain has contributed to the Waqf’s growth and expansion, strengthening its ability to continue providing its services and reach a greater number of beneficiaries. This support reflects Zain’s longstanding commitment to backing charitable and humanitarian initiatives and projects that create tangible and sustainable impact within the community.
As part of its partnership with Al Waqf, Zain Jordan has contributed to the distribution of thousands of healthy and balanced meals to guests of Al Waqf at located in downtown Amman, close to Al-Husseini Mosque. This contribution further underscores Zain’s continued role as an active partner in supporting charitable work and advancing community development across the Kingdom.
The recognition shield was received on behalf of Zain Jordan by Tareq Al-Bitar, Director of Corporate Communications, and Sustainability, during a ceremony held to honor the Waqf’s partners and supporters. The event was attended by representatives of supporting institutions and companies, as well as Al Waqf’s partners.

It is worth mentioning that, every year during the Holy Month of Ramadan, Zain Jordan engages its employees in volunteer activities at Waqf Thareed, several employees participate in preparing, serving, and distributing meals to Al Waqf’s guests, further fostering a culture of volunteering and community engagement among Zain employees.
