Amman, January 5, 2026: During 2025, Zain Jordan continued to strengthen its leadership position and active role in developing the esports and gaming ecosystem in the Kingdom through its specialized center, Zain eSports Jo. These efforts support Jordan’s ambition to position itself as a regional and global hub for esports and gaming, one of the fastest-growing creative industries worldwide.
Through Zain eSports Jo, Zain Jordan has played a pivotal role in empowering and showcasing youth talent at both the local and regional levels, while also stimulating the digital and creative economy in line with the rapid growth of the esports and gaming sector across the region. This is emphasized by Zain’s advanced digital infrastructure and its continuous investment in enhancing network readiness to keep pace with accelerating technological advancements.
Throughout 2025, Zain eSports Jo organized a continuous series of tournaments, events, and partnerships that achieved wide reach and strong engagement, surpassing 12 million views across various platforms. This reflects the growing interest in exports and the increasing participation of both emerging and professional youth, as well as investors, in this dynamic sector.
As part of its commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships and building a sustainable esports ecosystem, Zain Jordan, through Zain eSports Jo, renewed its collaboration with Jordan Esports Federation. In addition, in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the University of Jordan, the center contributed to establishing a specialized esports and game development center at University of Jordan Academy. This landmark initiative aims to integrate esports into the educational process, open new pathways for learning and professional development, and build students’ digital skills.
Zain eSports Jo center also organized, in collaboration with Jordan Esports Federation, the Jordanian Universities Esports Championship, with the participation of approximately 1,200 male and female players from various universities. The championship enhanced competitiveness and innovation, while contributing to the discovery and development of Jordanian talent within an educational and competitive environment.
At the regional level, Zain eSports Jo continued to strengthen its presence through Zain Esports West Asia Football Electronic Federation Championship, which brought together participants from 10 Arab countries. This further reinforced Jordan’s position as a leading regional destination for hosting esports tournaments. During the year, the center also organized several major tournaments, most notably FC 2025 Mix Mania, with over 200 participants, Fortnite Solo Squad Tournament with around 400 participants, and its strategic partnership in Aqaba Esports Championship, which featured 165 players.
Zain Jordan’s support for the esports and gaming sector also extended to sponsoring prominent international competitions, including Red Bull Login Esports Tournament and FIA MENA Esports Championship. This reflects the company’s commitment to providing interactive competitive platforms, supporting the gaming industry, creating new opportunities for youth to develop and showcase their talents, and enabling them to represent Jordan in international forums.
