Amman, Jan 3rd 2025: Throughout 2025, Zain Jordan continued to implement its plans aimed at elevating customer experience, through expanding network coverage, launching innovative digital solutions, and introducing interactive campaigns and services tailored to the needs of different segments of society.

These efforts align with the rapid evolution of the telecommunications and internet sector and support Jordan’s national digital transformation agenda.

As part of its commitment to providing customers with the latest technologies, Zain announced the availability of 5G services at no additional cost for all postpaid subscribers, including new customers and contract renewals. Zain also continued expanding its 5G network coverage to new areas in Amman and several governorates, including Irbid, Mafraq, Ma’an, and Karak.

In the fixed internet domain, Zain further expanded the coverage of its fiber-optic internet service across Amman, Balqa, Irbid, Mafraq, and Karak, governorates, enabling more households to access high-speed, reliable home internet services.

Zain also introduced its Fiber-to-the-Room (FTTR) service for existing Zain Fiber subscribers, allowing fiber connectivity to be extended to every room within homes. The service is supported by the latest Huawei Wi-Fi 6 ONT devices and advanced access points, ensuring seamless, high-quality coverage throughout the house. FTTR has been automatically included with all new fiber subscriptions, delivering a fully integrated home internet experience.

To enhance digital entertainment experiences, Zain launched exclusive, customized offers for gaming enthusiasts via its online store (Zain eShop). These offers included a dedicated gaming router bundled with Zain Fiber internet speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps, meeting gamers’ requirements for ultra-fast speeds, low latency, and high-performance connectivity.

As part of its ongoing engagement with youth, Zain rolled out its 2025 university tour at the start of the academic year, organizing interactive activities across Jordanian universities. The tour featured the launch of "Jeelna” lines, designed specifically for young users, alongside special offers, entertainment activities, and prizes, strengthening direct engagement with students and aligning with their interests.

Within its digital transformation strategy, aimed at integrating entertainment with technology and offering comprehensive, interactive digital platforms, Zain launched its largest summer campaign through its mobile application (Zain Jo) Zain Happy Box. Running from August through the end of October, the campaign offered customers and smartphone users across Jordan the chance to win daily instant prizes, including Samsung smart devices, gold coins, Zain eShop vouchers, Talabat Pro subscriptions, free internet bundles, as well as monthly cash prizes of JOD 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000. The campaign concluded with a grand prize draw for a Jetour T2 Luxury 2025 vehicle.

In line with its digital transformation efforts and commitment to simplifying customer journeys, Zain launched electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) services for prepaid subscribers. The service enables Jordanians, residents, and visitors to purchase physical SIMs or eSIMs through a fully digital identity verification process through Zain eShop. eSIMs are activated instantly for customers within Jordan, while visitors can activate their lines upon arrival after completing verification. SIM delivery services are available nationwide, with airport pickup options for visitors.

Zain also announced the launch of (eKYC) services for postpaid lines, offering customers two seamless verification options when purchasing new subscriptions: a fully digital eKYC journey based on automated identity verification using official documents and live biometric capture, or verification through the government-backed "Sanad” platform for pre-verified users, eliminating the need to present physical documents, ultimately enabling faster activation, reducing paperwork, and enhancing the customer experience across all sales channels.

Through these initiatives and services, Zain reaffirms its commitment to delivering advanced telecommunications solutions and integrated digital experiences that place customers at the heart of its priorities. Zain continues to support Jordan’s digital transformation journey and enhance quality of life through ongoing investments in network development, adoption of cutting-edge technologies, and the delivery of innovative services that meet customers’ evolving needs, reinforcing Zain’s role as a key digital partner in the Kingdom.
